SITE 2026: Connecting Indian Startups to Thailand’s Innovation Landscape

Building Pathways into Thailand’s Innovation Ecosystem International expansion is about far more than participating in global events. With this vision, Carve Startup Labs (CSL) led an exclusive Indian startup delegation to Startup x Innovation Thailand Expo (SITE) 2026, enabling five innovative Indian startups—SatSure, Fuselage Innovations, Konsole, Avay Biosciences, and GreenShift Energy—to engage with Thailand’s thriving innovation ecosystem through a combination of exhibition opportunities, startup pitching, strategic networking, and curated market access engagements. Delivered in partnership with the National Innovation Agency (Public Organization) (NIA Thailand), the program supported participating startups in showcasing their innovations at the India Pavilion while creating opportunities to engage directly with government agencies, ecosystem enablers, investors, corporates, and international partners. Recognising that successful global expansion extends well beyond conference participation, Carve Startup Labs also designed and facilitated an exclusive Market Access Program, providing founders with first-hand insights into Thailand’s business landscape and creating opportunities to explore strategic partnerships and long-term expansion across Southeast Asia. By combining ecosystem immersion with curated introductions and strategic engagement, the delegation reflected CSL’s approach to internationalisation—helping startups build meaningful relationships before entering new markets. SITE 2026: Thailand’s Premier Innovation Platform Startup x Innovation Thailand Expo (SITE) 2026 brought together startups, investors, government agencies, corporates, universities, innovation organisations, and ecosystem leaders from across the world to showcase emerging technologies and foster international collaboration. Organised by Thailand’s National Innovation Agency (Public Organization), SITE serves as one of the country’s flagship innovation events, highlighting Thailand’s commitment to entrepreneurship, technology, investment, and cross-border partnerships while positioning the country as a gateway to Southeast Asia. For participating startups, the event offered a valuable platform to connect with decision-makers, validate market opportunities, and explore collaborations across one of Asia’s fastest-growing innovation ecosystems. SITE 2026 Official Opening SITE 2026 was officially inaugurated by the Honourable Prime Minister of Thailand, Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, alongside the Executive Director of the National Innovation Agency (Public Organization) and other senior government leaders The opening ceremony reflected Thailand’s commitment to strengthening innovation, entrepreneurship, investment, and international collaboration, setting the stage for three days of meaningful engagement between startups, investors, policymakers, and ecosystem leaders from around the world. The event created an environment where entrepreneurs from around the world could exchange ideas, build partnerships, and explore opportunities for cross-border innovation. India Pavilion, Startup Showcase & Networking Through our strategic partnership with the National Innovation Agency (NIA), Thailand, and the India Pavilion initiative, Carve Startup Labs enabled five Indian startups to showcase their innovations throughout the three-day event. The startups engaged with founders, investors, corporates, policymakers, and innovation leaders from across the region, creating valuable opportunities for global visibility, partnerships, and market expansion. The SITE Startup Pitching Sessions featured 100 selected startups, including all five startups from the CSL delegation, providing them with an opportunity to present their innovations before an international audience of investors, corporates, and ecosystem stakeholders. Beyond the exhibition and pitching sessions, the delegation participated in networking engagements, including the official SITE reception. Carve Startup Labs also facilitated interactions with organisations including the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa), Thai Startup Association, and Thailand Science Park, creating opportunities for meaningful conversations, cross-sector collaboration, and future international partnerships. Through the AsiaBerlin network, participating startups were also introduced to the Berlin startup ecosystem, opening pathways for future global engagement. Curated Market Access Program Beyond the Exhibition Floor As an extension to SITE 2026, Carve Startup Labs designed and facilitated an exclusive Market Access Program, enabling participating startups to engage directly with Thailand’s leading government agencies and innovation organisations beyond the exhibition floor. The program included strategic meetings and ecosystem visits with the National Innovation Agency (NIA), Thailand Board of Investment (BOI), True Digital Park, and Techsauce, offering startups first-hand insights into Thailand’s innovation policies, investment environment, startup support ecosystem, and market entry opportunities. These curated engagements went beyond networking, enabling founders to build relationships with key stakeholders, gain practical market intelligence, and explore opportunities for collaboration and long-term expansion into Thailand and the wider Southeast Asian market. The CSL Approach: Creating Pathways for Global Expansion SITE 2026 represented more than participation in an international startup event.
